Arbitrariness

You are terminated after the same performance and the others who are performing less or same but still stay in the company.

Arbitrariness in Corporate World

Arbitrariness is the practice of making decisions without clear criteria or rationale. When an employee is terminated even though they are performing at the same level or better than other employees who are not terminated, this is an arbitrary decision.

Arbitrariness can be caused by a number of factors, including:
  • Lack of clear policies and procedures
  • Poor communication
  • Personal biases and prejudices

There are a number of possible reasons, why a company might make an arbitrary decision to terminate an employee.

For example, the manager may have a personal bias against the employee, or the company may be facing financial difficulties and needs to reduce its workforce. However, regardless of the reason, terminating an employee based on arbitrary criteria is unfair and unjust.

You should be given a Warning Letter or PIP Program,

before the company terminates you for poor performance

If you are terminated arbitrarily, you should consult with an employment lawyer to discuss your legal options.

In the corporate world. It is a reminder that even when you do everything right, there is no guarantee of job security. 😊😎
